All is well that ends well
Well life does dish out a lot of troubles along our way but then when you look at the people who are successful and happy in life are the ones who have dealt with those troubles. They are the ones who have jumped through hurdles and hoops and made things happen. Whenever I look behind me I see a 26 year obstacle course that I have crossed, in which I have been hurt - sometimes very minor injuries and sometimes very majoy ones where you have to stop running the course for a while - but getting hurt never stopped me from continuing on. This obstacle course is not done yet but what one hopes for is a long stretch of beach to walk at the end of this course, smooth beach sand tickling your toes while the waves wash your feet in a rhythm that matches your own heartbeats. In this course your competition is just yourself and you set the pace too. I have always looked trouble in the face and either found a way around it or over it, I have found painfully that wandering straight into it blindly will leave you groping in the darkness, but sometimes trouble comes in the form of a maze where you have to cautiously find your way to the other side without getting lost. This last kind is the one that I encountered and I am happy to say that I am on the other side with a smile on my face. Sunshine greets me as the wind runs her hand through my hair.
